Messy Messy Fail - Early last week, I stopped at a local greenhouse to purchase some pretty decorative cabbage and kale to plant outside for the winter garden.  Everything is on sale now, so I also picked up some deadnettle which is a great ground cover.  Unfortunately, due to the circumstances below, the deadnettle sat outside for a few days unwatered.....

Tidy Victory - Because I had my baby girl last Tuesday!!!!!!!!!!  At exactly 12:23 on Tuesday 9/21/21, baby Hannah made her surprise entrance into the world!  She was 5 weeks early but of good size so problems were minimal - 6 lb. 2 oz.  The boys, my husband and I are so in love with her, she is the cutest!

Messy Messy Fail - I have SO MANY MORE CLOTHES that need to be donated.  There is a giant pile sitting in the upstairs hallway and I am NOT here for it.  Not to mention that half the times I've gone to make a donation no one is ACCEPTING any!

Tidy Victory - Do you know what camping pie irons are?  They are two pieces of cast iron that clamp together, and you use then to make "camping pies" like little pizzas, fruit pies, etc.  You literally put the good stuff inside, stick the iron in the campfire and hope for the best.  After a few fails (charred beyond recognition) I have FINALLY figured out the perfect timing to make them.  My favorite way is to use two slices of white break, some apple pie filling and then sprinkle with cinnamon on top when done.  So yummy!

Messy Messy Fail - Don't you love it when you find that unidentifiable spill in the fridge?  I caught a doozy last week let me tell you.  Could have been pudding, could have been cheese juice - we'll never know.

Tidy Victory - We are ready to go for Halloween!  Although I tried to convince my youngest to be a pineapple for the holiday (he has a thing for pineapples!) the minecraft zombie won in the end.  At least we have all our costume ready, including for little miss whenever she arrives :D

Messy Messy Fail - My pregnancy brain has officially gone to the birds - I am living day-by-day at this point.  I cannot even remember which day of the week it is, and that is no joke.  
Tidy Victory - My turn to host again for the month of September which is great because as I will reiterate in the party, I love the month of September!

Messy Messy Fail - My current state of pregnancy makes me live day-to-day in the very fullest sense of the term.  Let's just say I didn't know my first day of work was Monday nor that I didn't have to work Friday.  Pregnancy brain.  Siri helps.

Tidy Victory - I planted some dahlia tubers I had purchased from Walmart in the spring to try them out - I had never grown dahlia's before.  WOW are they spectacular!  They all came up with gorgeous blooms.  Will definitely be putting these in the garden every year from now on!
