Messy Messy Fail - Is anyone else as bad about getting oil changes as me? I think Ruby Red Grapefruit (my car) is SCREAMING for oil. We'll save the explanation of my car's name for another post. :)
Tidy Victory - Our storage unit from when we moved one year ago has been CLEANED THE HECK OUT! We've had a collection of odds and ends in there, and this past week I decided that it had to go!
Messy Messy Fail - I fell AGAIN getting out of the truck in nearly the same spot. Will I ever learn my lesson?
Tidy Victory - Cork floors in the mud room and kitchen have been steam cleaned! That steam cleaner I have it so quick and easy - do you have a steam cleaner? I highly recommend this one from Bissell!
Messy Messy Fail - Oh my GOSH did I fall hard in the driveway - total sheet of ice under the thin layer of snow. Never even really saw it coming. Why does falling hurt more the older you get?!?!?!
Tidy Victory - We had a lovely Valentine's Day with the boys - whatever they wanted for dinner (noddles with parmesan AND macaroni and cheese) and giant chocolate suckers from a local chocolate shop. No need to go crazy or over board here - that was all those little guys needed!
Messy Messy Fail - Two weeks ago - we had two cold days off from school and then on the Friday I attended a music educators' conference. In other words, I did not teach at work for three consecutive unplanned days. Let's just say I don't do well when I diverge from my typical schedule - I could NOT get myself together at the beginning of this past week. That change threw me so bad - I could barely form cohesive sentences and give instruction. This just proves that I certainly am a creature of habit.
Tidy Victory - With all of the items I donated to the Salvation Army throughout 2018, we have so much more room in the house to store things properly, it's actually quite amazing. It's nice to have room to live and not have "stuff" everywhere! When was the last time you go ride of stuff?????
Messy Messy Fail - I did not know that heat pipes in a house can freeze. I guess you learn something new every day! With the first grader armed with my pink hair dryer and my husband on the blow torch, they thawed the pipe and we had heat. The problems a polar vortex brings!
Tidy Victory - I have slowly been going through the house and MariKondo'ing anything that I can. So far I have gone through my dresser drawers, kitchen towels and silverware. Not a lot yet but there is much more to come! And it is SO rewarding to see everything so neat and tidy!
