Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #396

Messy Messy Fail - Do you have a favorite water bottle or container that you like to use for your daily beverage, but it's so tall or oddly shaped that you can't clean it out very well?  I've gotten creative in order to get the brown build up out of the bottom of mine - long metal straw and paper towel.  Gross.

Tidy Victory - Hey at least I got it clean!

I am so glad that you're joining us for the 396th edition of Happiness is Homemade! Here you can share and find inspiration for everything homemade: recipes, crafts, gardening, home decor, and much more. Before we get to the party, let's take a look at this week's features, chosen by this month's hostess, Niki from Life as a LEO Wife.

This Week's Features

This fall outdoor set up over at Penny's Vintage Home is absolutely dreamy! Buttercup, her new "pet cow," is in an amazing addition to her yard. Penny placed some hay bales, pumpkins, and fall pillows near Buttercup's barn so that her friends and family can take some great fall pictures there. I wish I lived nearby, because that is definitely where I would get some new family photos!

These elegant DIY Halloween pumpkins from Debbee's Buzz are so elegant looking! I love the sequin and rhinestone mask that she added to one of them. In her post Debbee shares how you can recreate the pumpkins for yourself. Who wouldn't want these as part of their annual Halloween decor?!

Next we have these gorgeous Halloween printables from My Home of All Seasons. Denise did such an amazing job with these! I'm in love with them. The best part is, they're free. How sweet is that of her?! There are also some fall printables available as well.

These mummy cookies by The Happy Mustard Seed look so delicious. They are perfect for me to make, because when I use shape cookie cutters, it never works out. They always puff up, and you can't tell what they were supposed to be, even when I use supposed cookie cutter friendly recipes. These are round, but are dressed up for the Halloween season as a mummy. Perfect for parties or just for the kiddos!

Finally we have this Frankenstein mason jar craft tutorial by Drug Store Divas. This project is quick, easy, and oh-so-budget-friendly. You may even have the supplies for it on hand! I think it would be an adorable container for some Halloween candy for those who can't get out and trick or treat this year.
