Messy Messy Fail - Why can't I put the clothes away after I wash and dry them?  Seriously.  When it comes to doing laundry, I KILL the game!  But then it sits around in piles or in laundry baskets for QUITE some time.  Anyone else?

Tidy Victory - I continue to go through and get rid of more clothes every week.  Perhaps making more room in my closet and drawers will help my Messy Messy Fail above!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends and to everyone else, well, happy Sunday! Today many of us in the great White North (it's not really white yet I promise) are celebrating turkey dinner Covid style. No matter how small a celebration we will still be thankful for family, friends, health and many other things. To those of you who have been sharing Halloween while I have been steadfast in the Fall and Thanksgiving features I promise, your time is coming. Next week we start the Spooky and Fun Halloween Features.  In the meantime Happiness is Homemade Canadian Thanksgiving Edition!

Let's get started shall we? 

Let's start with a beautiful Fall Mantle, perfect for this Thanksgiving Weekend. Lisa from Fresh Vintage was inspired by the small blue velvet box given to her by her mom, it belonged to her grandmother. Inspiration can be found anywhere.

 

Organized Island has shared her recipe for a Pumpkin Spice Latte.  The perfect after dinner drink on Thanksgiving. OK who am I kidding the perfect drink anytime am I right? 

Crock Pot Pumpkin Soup, yes you read that correctly. How perfect for Fall and I am thinking the perfect pre-dinner start.  OK Flour on My Face has created the perfect soup which is a rich and creamy delicious way to enjoy the flavors of Fall pumpkins. This Crock Pot Pumpkin Soup recipe can be made into a vegetarian crock pot soup recipe with a few simple changes in the ingredients.

Just look at how clever and FARMHOUSE these are!  Wood Rosette Pumpkins for table decor, the mantle or elsewhere in the home.  How cute are these created by Petticoat Junktion? 

And our final feature this week is an awesome outdoor room.  How about creating the perfect spot outside to enjoy all that is Fall. Not Just a Housewife has shared her Fall Patio Decor, which reminds me I have yet to share mine oops.  Honestly we need more sharing of outdoor spaces, expend your home space and the enjoyment of the yard all year round.
