Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #445

Messy Messy Fail - Currently in our freezer sits a block of ice where ice cubes should be.  Nothing is more frustrating than a block of ice in your ice cube tray.

Tidy Victory - I've cheaply purchased and been gifted so many plants as we are getting to the end of the growing season.  I even went to a greenhouse and they GAVE ME plants to take for free because they just wanted them gone (and they were a bit crispy but they've made a recovery!). My favorite is a GORGEOUS red hardy hibiscus that I am going to plant in my side tidy garden (although there is not anything tidy about that particular bed right now).

Welcome to the Happiness is Homemade Link Party #445!

I'm Niki from Life as a LEO Wife, and I'm your co-hostess for the month of September. I'm so glad that you're here to inspire and be inspired by all of the greatness shared on this week's party! If you missed last week's party, you can check it out here.

This Week's Features

This pumpkin baked brie made by Nicolle over at Our Tiny Nest is the perfect dish to bring along to all of those fall parties you're likely to attend. It looks so cute and so easy to make!

Claire from Pillar Box Blue shared these super cute Scandinavian Halloween felt skulls that you can customize to fit your own Halloween decor style. Head over to get the full tutorial.

You will not believe how easy these crochet thread pumpkins are to make! Beth of Creatively Beth made them from thrift store finds, so they were affordable as well. You could even paint them black or dark purple to use at Halloween.

This bat and bow tree made by our own Bev over at Eclectic Red Barn is a great Halloween decoration that you can use indoors or out. It would be so cute made with longer branches sitting on your front porch this October!

Jenna from The Painted Apron created this beautiful pumpkin tablescape for a fall tablescape blog hop. It's so lovely, and even my 11-year-old son liked it. He's all boy, so the fact that he saw it on the screen and wanted me to choose it as a feature is high praise indeed!
