Messy Messy Fail - I had made it a goal to either A) clean out my 6-year-olds room or B) clean out the playroom over our spring break.  Neither happened.  Oh well.

Tidy Victory - For the first time in their existence, both of my OLD cats were given a bath and I didn't bleed to death!  When they were younger, they were much more feisty and quick to anger.  They do not have front claws but they could still get me good with their back claws.  Either way, as they get older they are seemingly more stinky and gross and less willing to groom themselves.  So, in the kitchen sink with some Dawn detergent dish soap they went!  I think they enjoyed it. :D

So, what do you do with all that leftover ham? Well, I can attest that this recipe is so delicious. My mom used to make ham salad the week after our Easter dinner and it was one of my favorites. This Ham Salad Recipe from The Kitchen Is My Playground is a winner!

   

My friend Marilyn from Marilyn's Treats makes the yummiest desserts. When I stopped by to see this baking work of art the Gluten Free Carrot Cake, my instant response was "I should have known it was made by Marilyn!" Her recipes are always the best.
