Messy Messy Fail - So it's been a few weeks since Christmas and now it's a NEW YEAR! I always try to make lots of Christmas cookies for the holidays - I got a few made BEFORE the holiday but then the rest AFTER. We'll call those - post-Christmas cookies :D
Tidy Victory - Christmas has been removed from our house. All holiday decor has been taken down and my husband said it - it's so nice to see everything dressed up for the holidays but it's also nice to get your house back afterwards!

Well I’m only a little bit late for the One Room Challenge, but hey… I did finish. And to be fair the ONLY thing I was waiting on was my light fixture. Through a series of not getting the right light, or receiving the light on time I totally missed the deadline. But it’s done and that’s the important thing!
And based on the reveal I have to agree with her. Stunning room re-do.
Something really fun for the New Year, How to Plan A Fondue Party. Organized Island says if you have never tried fondue or have never been to a fondue party, let me tell you they are one of the most social and fun parties ever.
And finally let's share a recipe shall we, A Potato and Corn Chowder from Walking on Sunshine. Potato and Corn Chowder is one of those soups that your family is going to be requesting again and again for dinner. And as an added bonus, it reheats nicely too if you have leftovers.
