Messy Messy Fail - My sons take swim lessons. Apparently we have reached the level of swimming where goggles are necessary for swimming. So we you go to the Aunt & Uncle's house for some swimming while out of town and you don't have the goggles............#messymessyfail
Tidy Victory - I have actually already made one of the recipes below, Cooking with Carlee's Blackberry Clafoutis but with cherries (we have a ton that we picked!) and we are ready to dig in! Check out my Instagram to see how it turned out!
Messy Messy Fail - I bought all the necessary items to make homemade poptarts last week, only thing being I have to make the strawberry jam from our leftover strawberries. I just kept putting it off until finally I tossed the strawberries into the freezer before they became completely unusable. Bravo. Maybe Monday.
Tidy Victory - I am so excited to report a frugal find - I have been eyeing this pair of black denim jeans with frayed ankles (NO holes anywhere else!) on Abercrombie and Fitch but they are still so expensive. Someone gave me the idea to just buy a pair elsewhere and fray the ankles myself, so that's just what I did! I found a pair of black jeans at Old Navy on clearance for $10.99 AND I had $5 in Rewards, so they only cost me $5.99. Totally stoked!
Messy Messy Fail - Talk about fails - I just found a box of those roll out sugar cookies from Easter in the back of my fridge - whoops!
Tidy Victory - My husband introduced me to a weed killer that I can spray on all of the Snow On the Mountain in the garden that has been happily growing back since I pulled it out 2 weeks ago - take that, ground cover!
Messy Messy Fail - So we went to see the Tall Ships in Buffalo over the weekend with the intent to go on Saturday - FAIL! It rained pretty yard the previous evening and then on and off all day. We were super disappointed, although we DID end up going to the Explore and More Children's Museum in downtown Buffalo. That DID end up being very cool!
Tidy Victory - We had no plans for Sunday (we intended to drive back on Saturday night after visiting the ships but obviously that didn't happen) so we just ended up staying on Sunday and had a FABULOUS time on Sunday visiting the tall ships!
