Messy Messy Fail - So we went to see the Tall Ships in Buffalo over the weekend with the intent to go on Saturday - FAIL! It rained pretty yard the previous evening and then on and off all day. We were super disappointed, although we DID end up going to the Explore and More Children's Museum in downtown Buffalo. That DID end up being very cool!
Tidy Victory - We had no plans for Sunday (we intended to drive back on Saturday night after visiting the ships but obviously that didn't happen) so we just ended up staying on Sunday and had a FABULOUS time on Sunday visiting the tall ships! Check out my Instagram account for a link with more information about them.
Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #278
Welcome to Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #278! My name is Katie from Love My Messy Messy Blog and I am so excited to be the hostess for the month of July.
My day job as an orchestra teacher keeps me busy during the school near, but now it is summer break and I am so ready to get some house projects done!
Special thanks to Carol from Bluesky At Home for hosting through May and June - she did a fabulous job! Make sure to give her a visit at her fun blog!
Now, on to the features......(drumroll)
This weeks features for Happiness Is Homemade #278
The first feature I chose immediately reminded me of the delicious yet naughty treats we get ever year at our local rodeo. Click to get the recipe for these Air Fryer Cinnamon Churro Bites with Caramel Sauce from Robin at Fluster Buster.
Even though the 4th of July is over, we still have Labor Day in September to keep our red, white & blue up for. I may try making this Whitewash Barn Star from Simply Designing to feature on a shelf.
One of my favorite books from my childhood was Anne of Green Gables, and sure enough the writers from Undo Adoption went on a vacation and shared pictures from their Anne of Green Gables Literary Tour.
I feel like Big Brother is listening - I was just saying how I want to find a way to make some neat little planters for some succulents. Enter Pillar Box Blue and her post on How To Make Repurposed Planters for Succulents. I love how bright and cheerful these turned out!
Lastly, I think we could ALL use this little helper in our house - a DIY Ironing Board & Iron Holder! Hannah from Handmade Weekly included clear and easy building plans and everything, love this little project!
I had SUCH A HARD TIME picking only 5 features - there were so many incredible posts from last week's party! But I hope you like the ones I did pick, be sure to give them a visit and leave them some love.
Here are all of our hostesses at Happiness Is Homemade - be sure to give a visit!
Now, on to the party!
