Messy Messy Fail - The weeds are taking over the gardens again and it's time to get to work - I plan to pull as much of them out as I can and spray them with weed killer. But they are seriously everywhere. Every nook and cranny. Every one.
Tidy Victory - I keep finding more and more clothes to donate and GOSH does it feel good! I found a pair of jean shorts that I literally wore 18+ years ago, and I literally could BARELY fit my ankle into them. Why did I keep them for so long???? Goodbye tiny shorts!
I lied ~ well, not intentionally. Last week I told you that it was my last week to be hostess. Then I was reminded that I am also hostess for the month of June. (Do I hear a woo~who or groans?) So here, I am ~ back as your hostess for Happiness is Homemade Link Party 273.
We hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Now we turn our attention to summer and all the activities ahead: summer entertaining, camp, the lake, the beach, picnics. Father's Day is in 2 weeks. (My birthday is in less than 2 weeks, but you don't have to put that on your calendar.) Then July 4th is in a little more than 5 weeks. O.K., I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's enjoy the first week of June.

Let's kick off June with sharing, linking, Pinning, and saying hello to new blogger friends. During June, I'll be looking at posts that celebrate summer. I hope you will too.
Happiness is Homemade Link Party 273 Features of the Week
This photo from Jamie at So Much Better than Age immediately drew my eye. I love how she styled her mantle for the summer with peonies. Jamie's photography is gorgeous so enjoy the scenery.
Heading outside, I love the summer blue and white tablescape theme from Jenn of Clean and Scentsible. I would rather enjoy dining outdoors anytime and seating at a pretty designed table makes the experience even more lovely.
If you have a picnic on your summer agenda, then you definitely want to check out this post from Jennifer at Busy Being Jennifer. She as a great list of essential picnic supplies for you.
Whether you are going to the lake, the beach or your neighbor pool, you need something cute to carry your essentials. Ashley from Yarn Scissors Silk gave this plain woven tote an upscale look with some DIY magic.
If camping is more your summer thing, then you want to check out these recipes for camping from Michelle at The Scrape Shoppe Blog. Everything tastes better outside, right?
Hope you enjoyed all goodies this week. Keep those summer ideas going. And please visit your hostesses this week.
