Messy Messy Fail - With all of the cherries I picked, I was running out of ideas to make but I took some advice from my FB page and Instagram page and made some cherry jam in the crockpot. I don't know what happened but it didn't set. So I have cherry syrup, maybe even cherry soup. Not jam.
Tidy Victory - I did bake some tasty cherry cinnamon roles that turned out beautifully, check out my pictures on Instagram or Facebook. Or you can pin the recipe from Pinterest here.
Welcome back to the Happiness is Homemade Link Party #232
It's August here at Happiness Is Homemade. Can you believe that it is August? Where has the summer gone? I am so excited to be your hostess for the month. Come along with me as I pick and share features that I hope will inspire you. I love seeing all of your DIY ideas, recipes, crafts, fashion, etc. This week's features are delicious recipes with a cute craft thrown in. (You should never pick features when you are hungry!) ~Bev @Eclecticredbarn.b;ogspot.comOn with this week's features!
As you may know if you follow me, my brother-in-law manages a farm in Georgia that has pecans and peaches so when I saw this dish, I knew I had to make it. Fresh peaches are amazing, especially when they are fresh picked. Patrick made this flatbread with peaches, cheese and a honey balsamic reduction. Yummy! Check out the recipe at Looney for Food.
I love chicken cordon blue, but if you are in hurry, try this one pan dish instead. It is fast and easy and you can have it on your table in 25 minutes or less. Now that is my kind of dinner. Check out Kristen's recipe at Dizzy Busy and Hungry.
Sometimes you just need a snack. This Chili-Cheese Dip only uses 4 ingredients. Scoop up some of that hot and gooey cheese melted over chili with a corn chip and make your taste buds happy. Check out Dani's recipe over at 2 Dishing Divas.
After all that great food, I wanted something sweet and what better than cheesecake? Marilyn over at Marilyn's Treats always has such amazing desserts and this Snickers Cheesecake is calling me. Head over and check out the recipe.
Although it is not food, this craft project is so adorable. I had not heard of teacup fascinators before and Debbie created her own version. You can get full details on how to make your own Whimsical Teacup Fascinators over at Debbee Buzz.
