Messy Messy Fail - We have a Panasonic vacuum cleaner, the kind that you drag on the floor behind you. What do they call that kind - canister? Anyways, it's been making quite the high-pitched whining noise for a few months now. We have one vacuum shop in town - "bad motor" they said. All I could see was dollar signs.........
Tidy Victory - They were able to replace the bad motor with a used one from another vacuum! Total money save and TOTALLY working again.
Messy Messy Fail - Does ANYONE ELSE get ants in their house when the weather starts to get nice? Hopefully it's not just us........they were doing laps around my sugar container like it was their job! Ant traps were set out and it took a few days, but it seems as though we got rid of them.
Tidy Victory - All of the garden beds at our new house have been raked out except for one - it was such a gorgeous day and I have been itching to see what's growing out there! So far I have found tulips, crocuses, coral bells, WISTERIA (yes!!!!!!!), iris, daylilies and PEONIES! I can't stop thinking about all of the fresh cut flowers I'll have to bring into the house this summer!
Messy Messy Fail - I am a total Facebook ad sucker - I purchased a packet of 100 succulent seeds for free (only paid for S&H). I looked up on Pinterest how to grow them and was all ready to steal some sand from the sandbox (sand has the best drainage for cultivating the succulents).......the sandbox is absolutely frozen. Not even a shovel could knock enough loose for the tray I was going to plant the seeds in. I'll be trying that again when the SNOW STOPS (whenever that happens)!
Tidy Victory - Taxes are just about done! I had every intention of doing them sooner, I have a service file them for us especially with having been in the LuLaRoe business. HOWEVER I am sure our tax preparer appreciates it when I hand them in sooner than later.
Messy Messy Fail - Still eating too many of those Utz Cotton Tails, perhaps I should buy stock.......
Tidy Victory - I was supposed to make this last year, but then it never occurred. Three fresh loaves of Polish placek bread - yum to the max! For those of you that don't know, it's a sweet bread typically made for Easter. It's very crumby and crumbly, but oh so delicious. Here's the Pin or the link to the blog post if you'd like to try making it yourself, a little bit of work but TOTALLY worth it!
