Messy Messy Fail - It's NEVER too late to dig up those plants that you were supposed to extract from the ground in October. Especially when you have an unseasonably warm day of 57 degrees in Western New York!
Tidy Victory - Got all of the empty beer bottles we had just been tossing out into the garage back to the recycling center for our refund and SURPRISE - this month's mortgage is on our favorite craft beer breweries! I kid - but I still got about $15 bucks back - sweet!
Messy Messy Fail - I cannot even put into words how disorganized and crazy I have felt lately - unbelievable!!! I blame Friday the 13th.

Messy Messy Fail - Happy New Year everyone! In all of our holiday traveling, I definitely forgot to find someone to take care of the cats while we were away Of course one of my awesome babysitters was available but MAN I can't believe I forgot to do that.
Tidy Victory - I somehow managed to bake 8 dozen cookies on Christmas Eve. I used to take a day off from work to bake all day long but that just didn't work out this year. Cookies turned out great and the boys loved helping me mix, roll, place and decorate!
Messy Messy Fail - My least favorite chore? Shoveling. I'd rather clean toilets. So having to shovel 3 times in one day is a serious problem. Welcome to Western New York!

Tidy Victory - I have been systematically trying to take something out of my closet to donate/toss every time I go in to get something to where. I have built up quite the pile AND made room for new fun clothes. :) Win win!

Tidy Victory - I have somehow managed to stretch our last grocery visit to last two weeks. Could that be due to my overcrowded panty? No way, and if it was I would definitely still claim this as a victory! Way to not shop, go me!
Messy Messy Fail - I knew that every month the Kindergartener's class was given a simple project to complete with family for a few weeks time. But I had forgotten about the November project, that is until I saw all of the family turkeys displayed on the wall outside his classroom at parent teacher conferences. We are handing it in on Monday.
Tidy Victory - I have discovered Carpool Karaoke with James Corden. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. My favorite is when he had Sia with him - how funny were they together!! Have you ever watched these? If not, you should because it's amazingness with music.
Messy Messy Fail - Not only had I not had my hair cut in, um, I can't believe I'm saying this, 8 MONTHS, but my poor sons hadn't either since the end of August. Their cowlicks, or as we call them hair horns, were in full force and could no longer be controlled. Not even hair gel could keep those hair horns down. Can't imagine what his teachers think of me........
Tidy Victory - I FINALLY GOT MY HAIR DONE!!! There is just something so magical about going to the salon and telling your stylist, "Please, just fix it, do whatever!!!". And she fixed it all right - thank you Miss Faith! :)
Messy Messy Fail - It's truly amazing how caught up we can get with life that we forget really important events that happen every year. Like a typical tradition. Like carving the pumpkins. It was seriously the night before Halloween and my husband says, "So when did you plan on carving the pumpkins?". I looked up, rolled my eyes and slapped my forehead. How could I have forgotten the PUMPKINS?!?!?!?!
Tidy Victory - We had a terrific Halloween - the first enjoyable one to be exact. No one really cried, everyone had their Halloween costume on and the weather was decent. Slightly cold but we were grateful it wasn't raining. I hope your Halloween's were as good as ours!
Messy Messy Fail - I was lookin' so cute and chic for my monthly date night with my husband. We had dinner and then went to a movie (The Accountant, awesomeness!). I was lookin' cute, that is, until I looked down after our movie and found giant butter stains all of my new top. I'm such a slob!
Tidy Victory - We ended the evening at a local favorite - Southern Tier Brewery. Not only do they sell delicious libations but CLOTHES too! I scored a great Pumpkin T at 25% off - picture to follow soon!
Messy Messy Fail - We lost the dish strainer for a hot second. I thought perhaps our house cleaner had hid it from me to teach me a lesson. It was under the sink. *sigh*
Tidy Victory - We convinced the Kindergartener to not be a house for Halloween. That's right folks - he requested a house costume, a white one at that. I was absolutely baffled and scrambling for a play B that I could convince him of. But when I realized that after watching Night on Bald Mountain from Disney's Fantasia for the 93282982023402934023 time and suggested he be the demon bat on top of the mountain, his eyes lit up and he said "Yes!". So one bat cape and Batman (it has the word bat in it so it's acceptable) gauntlets later, we have a demon bat costume.
