Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #598

Messy Messy Fail - We lost some of our old blogging buddies - life happens and sometimes people need a change!

Tidy Victory - We've got some new bloggers to help out with hosting along with a new logo!

Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #598

Welcome to the Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #598!

Katie from Love My Messy Messy Mess here for another week of fun and creativity.  We finally got some much needed rain here and my veggie garden is much happier.  I'm thinking about planting some fall veggies - lettuce, broccoli, brussels sprouts, etc.

Miss the party last week? Click here to check it out!

This Week's Features

Baking is my favorite thing to do, even in the hot summer!  This recipe for Apple Kolache Pastries looks so yummy and pretty easy too!

Did you have any idea that you could grill watermelon???  I knew you could grill meat, I knew you could grill veggies, I even knew you could grill pineapple, but WATERMELON??!?!?!!?  Check out this tutorial to see how it's done - Grilled Watermelon

One of my favorite weekend hobbies is going thrifting/antiquing.  Part of the magic is deciding what to do with the treasures that you find.  Check out this great tutorial for Turn a Thrifted Frame Into a Tray.

This cocktail sounds so delicious and refreshing I just had to pick it as a feature.  Try out this Orange Creamsicle Margatini to enjoy on your porch during one of these hot August days.

BONUS FEATURE

Mexican is my favorite type of food, so this mash up of a favorite summer salad (potato salad) with a Mexican side dish (street corn) for this delicious looking end result - Grilled Mexican Street Corn Potato Salad.
