Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #339

Messy Messy Fail - I have to know - who keeps a neat fridge?  Cause I simply cannot seem to do it.  Things get shoved in, anywhere they fit, leftovers get lost in the back, and containers inevitably spill.  Who has a tidy fridge?

Tidy Victory - By some miracle, even with being gone camping more than half of the summer, I have managed to keep my hanging basket on the front porch alive.  I decided to try New Guinea impatiens on the porch which is mostly shade all day and they did quite well!  I have NEVER had hanging baskets survive a whole summer anywhere, so this is truly a miracle in every sense of the word!  Someone call the Pope.......

Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #339

Happy Sunday and it's my month!  I know I normally handle October but this 2020 has me prepped for any kind of positive change.  It's Linda from A Labour of Life and I am taking us Back to School this week. I love the Happiness is Homemade linkup and seeing what y'all are creating each week.  Today I am sharing a few ease into fall features I think you will like!

Link Party Features

Pots and Planes has shared a delicious Potato and Leek Soup.  And wowser her inspiration came straight out of the TV, courtesy of the Marilyn Denis Show and chef Christine Cushing. FYI my favourite show that I have on every morning when I am working.

Next up is a Velvet Pumpkin Cloche from Eye love Knots. Inspired through her monthly Pinterest Challenge. The purpose of the challenge is to inspire us to take elements from the inspiration, and use them in our own unique way.

Concrete Fireplace from Cherished Bliss had me salivating.  How stunning was this makeover? An old, ugly fireplace gets a complete budget friendly makeover. head over to see the tutorial for this DIY Concrete Fireplace Makeover!

Could we have a Back to School week without a true BTS table setup. This funscape from Deb's Buzz had me ready to head back to see the teacher.

Because it is my week I do not have a special A Labour of Life Feature but I do have an extra. A sweet tea just seemed like the right thing to share. Cook Clean Repeat had me scrambling back to the kitchen to re-create this picture of cool refreshing tea.
