Messy Messy Fail - In my attempt to decorate our front porch for the holidays, I found some GIANT plastic Christmas ornaments at Walmart and tied them up with sparkly red ribbon on the hanging basket hooks. Should have known that with the amount of wind we get, those ornaments would simply smash into each other all night long until they cracked or flew off the hook completely. Next year, I'll need to find a new vision....
Tidy Victory - 2018 was a HUGE year for donating/getting rid of stuff in our house! I am very proud of the numerous Salvation Army and Sweet Repeats (a local high-quality children's consignment shop) drop off trips I made - we are talking at least 12! It makes me happy to know we are making more space in our home for ourselves, getting rid of items we no longer need or use AND the items will go to another good home and not necessarily a landfill!
