Messy Messy Fail - I seriously have SO many lotions, sprays, lip glosses & hair products. Three small totes worth - I used to store them in the upper shelf of one of my giant upstairs linen closets but we no longer have that. Does that make me a product hoarder?!?!?!?!! I just need to start using them or throwing them away!
Tidy Victory - We still have a random assortment of boxes left around the house, mainly items that we just need to find a home for. Everyday I'm trying to put away one more box - my goal is to be box free by summer vacation (end of June!). I really should have kept track of how many we used, but I KNOW it's in the 90's at least. Now that's a lot of boxes and made for a MASSIVE bonfire. :)
Messy Messy Fail - Just like the classic scene at the end of The Big Lebowski, one should never try to clean up ashes of any sort when there is wind.
Tidy Victory - Slowly yet surely I've been getting books, pictures and my tchotchkes up on the shelves in the library. They've all been sitting all lonely like in their boxes, just waiting to be displayed. I haven't found the right arrangement yet but I'm getting there!
Messy Messy Fail - I have too many clothes. I will readily admit that. I almost have all of my boxes of clothes put away from the move - clothes from the opposite season will now remain packed up until they are ready to be used. How many white chunky sweaters does one need to have? Certainly not 5!
Tidy Victory - We were unable to put a bird feeder up at our old house due to chipmunk/squirrel problems. As in they dug a colony under our front steps which they sunk and had to be replaced. At our new house, we have a beautiful garden and birch tree right outside our breakfast nook - perfect spot for our bird feeders! We have morning doves, sparrows, blue jays and GORGEOUS cardinals that visit us every day now, so fun to watch!
Messy Messy Fail - I made cinnamon rolls for the household starting with the dough last night. It had to rise twice, once on the counter and another in the fridge. I thought the piece of plastic wrap I refrigerated it in would hold it - I was wrong. Dough BOMB in my fridge.
