Messy Messy Fail - I bought all of these discounted bulbs at Walmart to plant in the fall - Queen of the Night tulips, grape hyacinths, etc. And then the snow fell, and I have not seen the ground since. I'm praying for a little warm up before the ground freezes to get these babies in. That's what I get for waiting!
Tidy Victory - All of the pumpkins and Halloween/Thanksgiving decorations are down. The local deer are going to have a pumpkin feast on the side of the hill this week!
Messy Messy Fail - I knew it was coming but I tried not to think about it - my old aluminum tablespoon finally broke off at the neck. I am divested - do you think I could find another somewhere out there? I don't think my baking will taste the same without it :(
Tidy Victory - I feel that it is a victory in that I am NOT putting up my Christmas decorations yet. I feel strongly and firmly about this - no Christmas until AFTER Thanksgiving. So I pat myself on the back for holding out!
Messy Messy Fail - I went to Walmart with a list but left with a few extra items. One of which I literally left in the Walmart parking lot underneath the shopping cart. It was such a cute poinsettia doormat!
Tidy Victory - I made an AMAZING batch of cinnamon roll baked doughnuts today from Tornado Alli's new dessert cookbook that is going to be coming out REALLY soon - be watching for the link to purchase!
Messy Messy Fail -Didn't I watch some poor woman do it this morning - you know, get to the cashier to check out and realize you don't have your credit card on you. I waited patiently behind her, Lord knows it's happened to me before and I was so embarrassed. Well, would you know it was my turn this evening when I got into the checkout line in Walmart. I had to reload everything off of the belt back into my cart so I could run back out to my car to find my darn credit card. That was no coincidence, my friends.......
Tidy Victory - We are having a family birthday party for my 1st grader tomorrow and I have never been more prepared - cake is baked, balsamic corn & black bean salsa is marinating and the pizza is ordered. It's always fun to have everyone in our family over for a party!
