Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #429

Messy Messy Fail - Do you every check the start time on something, or SWEAR that you had, only to find out upon arrival that you had the wrong time?  That happened yesterday after driving all over East Jahunga to get dinner (chicken bbq fundraiser), get plants for the garden and gather some u-pick asparagus.  It was the asparagus - at least u-pick was only a dollar cheaper.

Tidy Victory - Garden annuals and some new perennials are purchased and going IN!  Every year I go to Troyer's Greenhouse in Panama and they never disappoint.  Best prices around!

Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #428

Messy Messy Fail - I overslept like I have not overslept in a long time on Friday morning and it shook me.  Truly there is nothing worse when you suddenly wake up realizing you should have been up a 1/2 hour ago.

Tidy Victory - I have slowly been changing out and decanting all of the food in our pantry.  It was such a hodge-podge assortment of items in boxes, cans, etc.  I scored a great deal on some sealed clear containers with chalk board stickers for labels on Amazon and have slowly been changing everything out.  Extremely satisfying!

Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #427

Messy Messy Fail - I'm telling you, Friday the 13th was INSANE!  It started off with leaving my phone at home from which point it quickly went down hill.  Glad that day is OVER!

Tidy Victory - Are you planning on watching the lunar eclipse of the Flower Super Blood moon tonight? Fingers crossed we don't get clouds :D

Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #426

Messy Messy Fail - When you are so excited that you found a penny planner at Dollar General, only it was for 2021-2022, not 2022-2023 :/

Tidy Victory - I am obsessed with the DollarTree and my student know it! Sooooo many cute decor items and DIY supplies, although my favorite are the solar garden lanterns I made!

Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #425

Messy Messy Fail - So far only one of my winter-sowing jugs has propagated - and that's one out of 9!  Hoping they are just taking their sweet time, but it's been almost a couple of months now.

Tidy Victory - All the beautiful tulips and daffodils are nearly in full swing!  I had done some digging and replanting to coordinate colors, although it turns out I still mixed them up.  However I did pick up some garden markers from the Dollar Tree and I plan on labeling and digging up again as soon as the flowers are spent.  They will then go in labeled paper bags until the fall to be replanted.  Again.  But in the meantime, they do look darn beautiful!
